Q: What are Business Accounts?
A: Business Accounts are a new feature of the mPARK service aimed towards companies and organisations who allow their employees & members to expense their parking costs. Members of Business Accounts can use the mPARK service to park in supported cities and bill the cost of this parking to a common company credit card. For more information on how to use the mPARK service see the mPARK instructions for your city.

Q: Why should my company open a Business Account?
A: Members of the Business Account service receive all the advantage of standard mPARK users (no change required when using meters, etc.). Expense management for companies is simplified as all business parking transactions are automatically billed to the company credit card which you registered. Transactions can be tracked online by logging in to your mPARK business account.

Q: How can I open a Business Account?
A: Simply click on the registration link here, and you will be presented with an online registration form. Complete and submit this form, including the credit card details which you want the parking transactions billed to, and your Business Account is immediately up and running.

A: You should include anyone who is allowed to claim for their parking expenses.

Q: How do I add members to my Business Account?
A: Simply log in to your personal Business Account site here using the username and password which you supplied at registration. You will be presented with a number of options one of which is 'Members'. Click on this link and then select the 'New Member' option. Enter the new member details in the form provided and submit the form. The new member will be able to use the service straight away. for more information on how to use the mPARK service click here.

Q: >How can I track how much my members are spending on parking?
A: When you log onto your personal Business Account site, click on 'Recent Transactions'. This will show you a complete transaction history for your Business Account. You can obtain more accurate information by using the advanced date & member search features.

Q: What are service times?
A: A service time is a defined daily period, one for each day of the week, when a Business Account member may bill their parking charges to their Business Account. This is useful, for example, if you only wish to allow members to bill to the Business Account during business hours, Monday to Friday. If the member tries to use the service outside of this service time, e.g. at the weekend, the mPARK service will not permit them to do so. For you convenience, each business account automatically has 3 default service times associated with it:
All day, every day
All day, weekdays
Business Hours, Weekdays (07:00-17:30)
You can create new service times to suit your organisation's requirements. Log onto your personal Business Account site, click on 'Service Times' and click on 'New Service Time'. Fill in the new service time form displayed and submit it.
When you are adding/updating members you can select which service time they belong to (the default is 'All day, every day'). This allows certain users more flexible Business Account billing than others.

Q: Can members use mobile parking payments outside of their service times?
A: If a user is registered for mPARK only as a member of a Business Account, then they can only use the service as defined by their specific Business Account service time. However a Business Account member who wishes to use the service outside of these hours can do so by registering for the standard mPARK service using their personal credit card. This user will then have their parking transactions automatically billed to their Business Account during their service times and to their personal credit card outside of these hours. Similarly users who have already registered for the standard mPARK service can also become Business Account members and avail of this dual billing feature.

Q: How often is my business account credit card billed?
A: All transactions should be billed to the credit card within 2-3 days of the transaction taking place.

Q: Can I export Transactions on my Business Account to any other packages?
A: Yes. Log onto your personal Business Account site, and click on 'Recent Transactions'. Click on 'Export Results' at the bottom of the screen. A new browser window will open up with an excel spreadsheet containing a complete transaction history, or the results of the last search. Due to the large amount of data which may result, it is advisable to do a search for a specific set of data before exporting the results.

Q: How Secure is the service?
A: All details which are registered or updated are protected by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all information you input. Any sensitive information that you register, such as passwords, credit card details etc., are encrypted using private keys before being stored in our databases. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to logout of the personal Business Account site when finished using a shared computer. For additional security you will automatically be logged out of the site after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Q: How much do Business Accounts cost?
A: Opening a Business Account is completely free. Simply register your details and members, and the mPARK service can be used immediately. All mPARK transactions are subject to a 30c service charge. All calls made to the mPARK service, and SMS text messages sent to the mPARK service are subject to the usual operator charges under your mobile phone plan.
